I want to make a homemade weather and natural disaster kit and don’t know where to begin. Where i live we had evacuations for floods and propane leaks and we also have a few buzzards and power outages all in the last 10 months. So… I was wondering what to put in there and what you all have in your disaster kits. i could really use the help i looked everywhere and found a few but not helpful please write detailed lists and no ect. please. thank you very much.
We also have people with asthma and diabetics as well in out family

Well we have a hurricane preparedness guide in our town so maybe some of this could apply to your situation:
1.Canned and non-perishable foods that do not need cooking
2.Manual can opener
3.Bottled water (a gallon per day per person for around 5 days
4Prescription medicine including your diabetes and asthma Supplies
5.Pet food/supplies (if you have a pet)
6.Water purification tablets
7.Disposable plates,cups,and utensils
8.If you have a baby infant care items
9.First aid supplies
10.Masking and duck tape
11.Flashlight and radio with extra batteries
12.Battery operated clock
16.Plastic trash bags
19.Personal Hygiene items
20.Board and card games
23.A large plastic bin to keep everything in
